Got this for my son's 9th birthday and he spent the whole afternoon driving under the beds, then showing us the footage on my old phone. The magnetic camera has survived a lot of skirting-board crashes so far.
The first-person view is the whole point and it delivers. Picture is fine for a toy, not GoPro quality, and it gets choppy if you drive into another room. Still laughed the entire time chasing the cat.
Went with the 2-battery package and glad I did. We swap and keep going instead of waiting around. Took a couple of goes to fit the drift tyres, but on the garage floor it slides beautifully.
Looks great and the remote feels solid in the hand. On carpet it barely drifts, though. You really need a smooth floor or the driveway. Once I moved it outside it was a lot more fun.
